What counts as an "indexed screenshot"?expand_more

Any image SnapSaw has analyzed and made searchable — from Win+Shift+S, PrintScreen, a watched folder, or drag-and-drop. The Free plan indexes up to 200 shots; Pro up to 3,000. Deleting a shot frees up its slot.

Is my library actually private?expand_more

Yes. Your screenshots and their search index live in a local SQLite database on your PC — never on our servers. Analysis happens over an encrypted connection, and only the AI-generated metadata briefly leaves your machine.

What happens if I cancel Pro?expand_more

Nothing gets deleted. You keep every screenshot, and search still works locally. You'll go back to the Free 200-shot indexing cap for new captures.

Is there a macOS app?expand_more

Yes — SnapSaw runs on macOS 11+ as well as Windows 10/11, and one account (and one Pro plan) covers both. Download either from the homepage or your dashboard.

Do you offer a student or team discount?expand_more
